Volume Control on single track

I may have suffered a stroke, I can't find how to execute a volume change on a single track.
What I would like to do on a back up guitar track, is to have the volume louder during the verses and quieter during the choruses.
I know I can point the mouse to top of the back up guitar track and it change it to an up and down arrow and pull down to lower the volume, however this pulls the entire guitar track down in volume.

Suggestions?
