Default Why the scroll bar in preferences?

Just asking, because:

1. My scripts don't work reliably now (my concern, but still...)

2. It's annoying to have to scroll it

I guess because they squeezed the search button in there.

But...they could just extend the window a touch lower (it's not like it's ginormous yet).

At least my scripts would work then (and I would never have to scroll).

I think Justin was thinking of relocating the Search thingies to the same plane as OK, Cancel and Apply ... but then I guess the tooltips would have to go somewhere else. Dunno, think I'm confused ...

thanks for removing the scrollbar!

but it still looks a bit bad IMO:

make the search field a bit wider, so that the "find" button is aligned/moved to the right border of the "preferences subwindow". this would/should make the help-text to be aligned/moved to this right border too.

i know, this gives a bit less space for the help hints, but some already don't fit there anymore. for example the hint for "pre-zero output buffers" is already trimmed ("... in certain" what?). i think we could still give good hints with less words ...

here a mock-up (of course the scrollbar shouldn't come back): preferences.jpg
