Equator D5 Isolation Pads

Didn't see another reference to these yet, so I figured I'd put it out there. (If I missed another post/thread, forgive me.. I'm getting old. lol)
Equator's added D5 isolation pads (a la MOPAD) to their product line.

They're $19.99 and, I figure, a good compromise between spending twice that on Auralex pads and building my own... which would most likely not be as effective, anyway.
Ordered mine yesterday, shipped out today.

They are slanted only, but it turns out that is perfect for my current setup. Sized exactly the same as the D5 (7"x 8.5"x 2" in the front. 1" in the rear). And though I could do without the logo on the pads, I can deal with it just fine.

I wonder what would be good, low cost speaker stands for these monitors/pads... I have two sets of monitors and need to somehow rearrange everything

I've been using On-Stage SMS-6000's for my older 8" near fields. Haven't decided whether to put the D5s on these or leave them next to the computer monitor where my little JBL Control 1's used to go for reference. I got the On-Stage stands on sale at GC for about $79. But the everyday street price seems to be about $99.
So far, I like the distance, the height and the feel of the D5s on the desk furniture instead of the stands, but I am moving in a month or so, and am waiting to see how that new place works out.

If I remember seeing pics of your space, you're a bit crowded. Stands might, indeed, give you some room you need.

Actually, I didn't mention the pads in that post. I was referring to / telling Jason about the OnStage stands i thought and originally stated that I got for $79 a pair... then realized it may have been per stand.
