Time selection color woes

I have never really been able to get time selection to behave for me colors wise.

I would really just love to have it change the item BG color and not the peaks or waveforms.

There's no way not to have the time selection color affect the peaks and waveforms right?

I would use black and kind of bypass the issue, but I usually use spectral peaks

Mine does that, basically:



The fill mode is Add 0.19.

EDIT: Actually I thought you meant the arrange background, not the item bg. Yea you can't target only part of the item like that.
