Default Midi Editor-Hide unused note rows + transpose results in wrong note display

0- confirm that "hide unused note rows" is OFF
1- record/write a midi "melody" that skips a note, but contains a range of notes
2- toggle "hide unused note rows" ON
3- select an existing note and transpose it to a non-displayed note range that exists between your highest and lowest midi note
4- ISSUE: the note displays at the top of the midi editor in your highest visible note row. it cannot be clicked on, but it can be lasso selected. it plays properly, and re-toggling "hide unused" fixes the improperly displayed note.

NOTE: sometime around ~7-11-16, "View: Hide unused note rows" was updated, so that notes being recorded into the midi editor would "update" the hidden/unhidden note rows. prior to this, you'd see behavior like the notes being transposed above. could this fix please be extended to transpose actions?

here's a better gif that quickly shows the issue. here, i show what happens when "hide unused" is toggled ON and i +1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 etc semitones in succession. note the floating midi note.

expected behavior: new note row should be incorporated by the "hide unused" setting, since it is no longer unused.

it looks like some work got done on this issue, because the note no longer displays in the wrong note lane. now, they appear in the "offscreen midi" portion of the midi editor. this is an improvement, but you still end up having to turn "hide unused/unnamed note rows" off and then on again in order to see the updated midi.

"hide unused/unnamed note rows" should be made aware of new notes in the viewed item, and add them as they are added via transpose. removal of transpose-added note rows is not necessary -- as is the current behavior when you delete the last note in a row while using this hide setting.
