Default FX Browser 'Most used' sorting mode

There is recently used category. Would be awesome if Reaper also counted how many times we've added a plugin in the last x hours of Reaper use (I think doing this rather than time is more logical, to account for long breaks), and let's us sort any category or folder by this instead of by name.

In addition, when right clicking FX slots in TCP/MCP, we could also choose to look through a list of *all* plugins sorted by the same metrics.

+1.
Also option to sort search results by "popularity" would be great. Most used plugins on top.

Do you mean something different than how often the user uses the plugin? Like how often all users ever have used the plugin? I'm not sure how that would be useful.

No, not all users of coarse. Just like you said.
I use "Fast FX finder" scrip sometimes and that's the perfect demonstration. The more often you insert the plugin the closer it gets to the top in search results.

I just thought you were suggesting "most used" category like "recently used" and decided to add to this that sort by most used would be great in search results in any category.

Ok now I get ya. Sorting by most used would be better, actually. Then it would apply to any folder or category you're in at all. Changing OP.

The option to have the "All Plugins" folder sorted by frequency of use would make browsing more efficient for sure!
