Default Reapper+Superior Drummer 2 open Grooves in a different FX window

Hello everyone.

I'm new with home recording and had some problems with Reapper+SuperiorDrummer2.
Previously I used EZDrummer2 on Reapper and worked perfectly. I had to change my OS and lost EZD2.

Reapper see the Toontrack plugins and play them without much problems (sometimes Reapper takes a lot of time to play), but open grooves in a different FX window (EZPlayer).

Idk if the problem is the software I have, or some wrong Installing I'd made.

My question is: Can I solve the Grooves oppening in a different window and see them on SD2 FX window?

Thanks!

It depends on where you are putting the MIDI that you want played.
If you are writing MIDI parts in a Reaper (ONE p - grin) you will not see the MIDI part inside the SD2 because it is no longer being generated by SD2.

If you grab MIDI grooves from SD2 and drag n drop them into a Reaper track, it will still NOT show up within SD2.

So the short answer is, if you want to see your MIDI playing within the SD2 gui, you will have to actually write it within SD2, but Reaper may not actually record the MIDI in Reaper, just the audio output of the SD2.

Hi, ivansc.

The problem it is not in MIDI. It is in the FX window. It appears in different tabs.

The grooves open in a FX plug-in called EZPlayer and the drumms in another called SP2 (1).

The Grooves should appear like this (2).

LugNut is probably right. I updated to SD3 & no longer have SD2 installed, but I am pretty sure that you should be able to see all the EZD/EZX grooves within SD2`s grooves.

If you cant find them in the Groove tab of SD2, you will need to locate them using Toontrack Product Manager to reinstall everything & include the old EZD2 installation.
Assuming you had a legitimate version of EZD2, it should be showing up in your PM account, in which case you would never have needed to buy SD2, either.
