REQUEST: in the notation's continuous view, make the active item brighter, the non-active items darker.
EXECUTION: an overlay color with a blend mode over non-active items.
REASONING: By design, there is always exactly one active context in the MIDI editor, with a lot of actions and all scripts (with the current API) working just on this one single item. It is crucial to know which item this is. When working in the continuous notation view, it is currently very difficult to tell which one it is, since there is no visual cue to indicate this.
