Yes, the tracks are "done".
I tried almost every DAW, S1, Live, Bitwig, Logic X, waveform but Reaper suits me better.
I have several scripts, SWS extensions and made shortcuts which help a lot in my workflow.
Drag&drop from media bay is also usefull, a kind of S1 scratchpad.
AI are a great addition and IMO is the best of all DAW for intense automation editing, logic X being the worth.
In reaper, it is possible to mute the CC data in the midi item, usefull for A/B comparison.
Reaper is also strong at non destructive audio editing.
Reaper can even run on my old netbook with some plugins. I can built a live set on my mac, load into the netbook and perfom with it.
Not sure other DAWs wich are more CPU demanding, will run on my netbook !
I found nothing wrong for producing techno stuff with Reaper. The working method is different from Live with the session view and the ability to launch midi clip on the fly.
