Item Volume Control goes MIA when...

When the Item Volume Control is set to Handle (+0dB is center) in Prefs -> Media-> Appearance and the handle is raised above 6dB, the edge of the handle disappears, thus you can't grab it to re-adjust the volume after that. Hopefully, this isn't a design decision, because I honestly don't like using the knob control, and I need a way to adjust the volume of an item above 6 dB sometimes.

If memory serves, that's one of the reasons for the knob but could be wrong. I'm the opposite, I couldn't deal with that line.
