Default Roland Cloud instrument problems

Curious whats going on here. Might have to cancel the subscription.

1) presets and changes on instruments don't save in Reaper

2) the heavy synths like Juno used to run fine, using 7-11% at the most, all of a sudden started using 30-40% of memory, rendering them unusable.

Seems like my laptop is fine, it's a i7

Using their vst2 versions and not vst3 fixed the presets problem for me. I always freeze each of them when done. How much ram do you have?

Same issue here with patches not saving. How does one install VST2 versions of Roland Cloud synths vs the VST3 versions they seem to default to in Roland Cloud Manager? I'm brand new to Roland Cloud. Thanks.

How did you get VST2 versions? I'm using the Windows version of the Roland Cloud Manager and when I go into Library and find the synth I want to install, there's just one option - "install." I don't see anywhere where you can choose VST2 or 3. Any help would be appreciated because I'm struggling with the same issues of patches not being saved etc. Thanks.

On Windows? Look in C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins\Roland

If you see them there, just add C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins to your VST Folders in Reaper's preferences. Don't move them to another directory because that will screw things up next time there's an update. Better to let the Cloud Manager put them where it wants and add that path to Reaper.
