Default Select next medi item

Hey all,

as always apologies if this is covered, have searched but found nothing.

Wondering if it's possible to 'press key' to select next media item? Found some old posts saying it wasn't possible but nothing in recent years.

The context is sample editing so thousands of samples need checking through and would be swift being able to select next media item on the track.

Any tips muchly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Yup, that's the one, Bingo !

You could even extend this workflow, so that the next selected Sample is also automatically played once (or looped if you want to).

You would do this by making a Custom Action.

Hi Rv5, I do this a lot and I usually end up with different custom actions for every project because they are all
different. One might be acoustic guitar, the next a piano, then maybe string samples, or maybe drums. Lately I've
been recording and editing steel guitar samples using the take system.

One thing to keep in mind are "Regions". I use these a lot throughout a sample project in many various ways. They
work great for checking the samples, but that's just one of the many uses for Regions. In the end, the Regions will
usually become part of the rendered file names in some way.
