Addiktion - I clicked on your thread to hear your new EP,and really don't know what to say, other than I'm pretty much blown away by it!
Then I read the comments made by EJ and Dea-Man,and of course listened to their stuff as well and was AWE STRUCK!
I'm just a hobbyist barely scratch'n the surface of Reaper, and I'm really inspired by what all three of you are do'n with your talent, and with Reaper - I can only hope....
Wow, that really hit the spot. Excellent song, excellent production. Love the imagination, the development, the movement -- everything! I'm glad I got to listen to this.
Hehe you know there is only digital stuff playing there
I have just used my Little Phatty on some tracks... But thats one track in a 150 track mix!
But I guess that you mean that the processing sounds quite warm, so thanks!
About the genre, well it is really difficult to say even for me, because it is a mix of many original genres.
It can be a bit ridiculous to be precise because of a too long description!
I would say that I produce a mix of new school dubstep, drum and bass, electro-house, complextro, electro-rock.
That is why I like to use the "bass music" label, which just sums that in one word...
Some of my next tracks are different and would require more "terms", but still stay in the bass music family
Yes, i meant the overall sound texture, the "mojo".
And the sound design
And the sequencing
And the mixing
Etc...
You know, i' m not really accustomed to new school musical styles and since lots commercials (mainly cars) started using this kind of electronic music something tickled my hard core inner me (i mostly work with easy listening and acoustic stuff). So i had to ask what genere it is.
Now i' m soundclouding alot.
I'm happy to show you the first track of my debut EP : Cyborg Destiny!
The EP has been produced completely in REAPER, with VST's and a few hardware synths!
Let me know what you think!
And of course feel free to download and share it if you want to
Hi Addiktion, your soundtrack is simply stunnning. I love the choirs part and the incredible syncro with all the scenes (especially the robot born parts...how did you syncronize them in a so sharp way?).
Awesome! Really great work. This isn't exactly my type of music, but the fact that I enjoy your work proves you've done it right! Great production. One of the things I've disliked about a lot of EDM/Dubstep type music is adding chaos to the sound for the sake of making it chaotic. You've managed to add chaos tastefully! Well done, I just finished downloading the EP and now I'm going to go listen!

I am not the video editor so I cannot answer for him, but I guess he cutted the movie into pieces and edited it to be in sync with the audio, adjusting frame by frame! This takes quite a bit of time and work
And he has very "trained" eyes
