Default toggle repeat recording, strange behavior

When I record a two measure midi loop playing addictive drums
there is some strange things happening, the timing is fine for about one and a half measure, then there is a break and the drums for the second measure comes in a little off, but the timing is fine when the loop start over

any ideas?

thanks

it seems that all the lanes get split at the point where I stop
the recording. so if I hit space two beats before the end of the loops, there is a split in all the lanes at this point,
there is also some silence inserted at the split

is it some kind of option that I have enabled?

bear with me, I`m a drummer

Are you starting to record midway through playback or are you recording from the start of your loop area?

What I mean is, is the sequencer playing and THEN you record, or are you just recording from the start.

I don`t start recording midway through playback,
just ctrl-r at startof loop.

seems that there is a thread on the issue, I`ll continue there
