Default create sends at a specific point in FX chain

Hello everyone! I'd like to know if there is a way to create a send at specific point in fx chain (eg. after an eq-comp but before the reverb). I haven't stumbled at anything of the short, forgive my ignorance if there exists, and please redirect me. Thanks in advance.

Off the top of my head, it should be possible with REAPER's channel splitting capabilities.

You could use the plug-in pin connector to add, say, channels 3/4 after the comp and as well as letting signal flow thru to channels 1/2 also send it out on 3/4, then have a Post FX track send to another track from 3/4, receiving it on channels 1/2.

Have never tried this model myself but can't see why it wouldn't work ...

.... but it might be simpler just to put reverb on a separate track. Just a thought!
