Problems Recording Automation with Midi Controller

I've set one of my faders on my Maschine Jam to pitch bend. Loaded up an instance of ReaControlMidi to my track. Set my track automation mode to Write and press Play on transport.

The Maschine Jam can change the pitch bend value in the ReaControlMidi, but it doesn't record the automation in reaper. If I edit the pitch bend control on ReaControlMidi with my mouse, the automation is recorded.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong?
