Default Reaper 6.05 add native FaderPort v2 (2018) mode (SOLVED)

as title...

I saw thrrs native mode added from the recent update.
But I couldn't figured it out how to get it wrking?
this is my OSC settings:

I've tried switch to the studio one mode which is its default mode I believe...
not 100% wrking like the FP 1st generation.
I also tried other different mode non of them can have a fully function performance.

before this update, I used it with Logic mode(MCU)
not 100% wrking like the FP 1st generation also..
this is the previous set up:

can anyone guide me a bit plz ?
i'm on Mac platform.

Hi, I dropped this message in the 6.05 thread in General.

Code:
I got it working(ish). This is what I did.

    A factory reset to v3.1
An update to latest version 3.42
Set it to native/studio One mode
Disabled the Faderport in REAPER Preferences Midi Devices
Removed all of my surfaces in preferences
    Readded it
    Restarted REAPER
    Restarted my FP

I'm not sure which of the steps made a difference...

Anyhow, Transport works, 3/5 Automation modes work, Solo, Mute, Arm and their SHIFT functions work, Fader works, the 8 buttons in the middle and their Shift finctions (Link, Pan, Channel, Scroll, Master, Click, Section, Marker, Lock, Flip, Lock (again), Zoom) Do not work.
Hope you get it working

Glad you got it working.

If you want to customize your Faderport 2 a bit, head on over to the CSI thread where we have the Faderport v2 going as well. But of course that's a bit more complicated to setup. Nevertheless if you have the time, I do recommend it.

Download the latest beta from the signature of user Geoff Waddington. He's the author of the Control Surface Integrator.

Currently this link is https://stash.reaper.fm/v/38349/CSI%20beta.zip

Do check up on the thread though.

The basics of how CSI works are here:
https://github.com/malcolmgroves/reaper_csi/wiki

And here are some basic Faderport v2 files for CSI. Be sure to check the WIKI for details on what all the stuff means .

I've just been trying to get my new Faderport 2 working in Reaper.

Thanks to the CSI files and Reasonus, most of it is working but like some others I've seen here I can't get the Session buttons - Link, Pan, Channel, Scroll, Master, Click, Section and Marker to do anything.

The Prev and Next buttons work to scroll through tracks.

The dial just controls Pan on whatever track is selected. I can't see how to get it to do anything else.

When I looked at videos about the Faderport 2 you seem to be able to press these buttons and the one you've pressed lights up. That doesn't happen on mine. I don't know if that's a configuration issue or just that I should be pressing something along with them or whatever.

Anyone got these buttons working?

What is your curent setup?

With ReaSonus most of them should do something. You can check the documentation what is working. Some things are in progress and will be added in the next release (undo, redo, follow cursor editing function keys)

Default Set FaderPort V2 Operating Mode

For anyone (like me) that couldn't figure out anywhere in the documentation on how to set the initial operating mode on the Faderport V2 on power-up....

Next + Powerup + Solo.
