Default Jazzy instrumental

Going though some old MIDI files fom the 90's and finalized this one.
An instrumental jazzy tune.

Great recording. Tones of Bill Frisell.

Thanks.
I don't listen to Jazz, so this was a new name for me.
Listen to him on youtube. He's good!

I don't recall Bill F ever playing like this.

Fun track guy. It sounds like you had a good time working on it. It's coming through in your playing. Reminds me of something one might hear as background music in a 70's spy flick or something like that.

Groovy.

New guitar? Details? Sounds like it might be a semi-hollow perhaps? Maybe like an art core or something similar?

The new guitar is a warmoth velocity with a HSS setup.
The sound you refer to is my schecter telecaster with two humbuckers. Both partcasters.

Wow, well I need to have a look at one of those because I really like that tone. I never would have guessed that something with that much of an 'open' sound to it was a solid body. It must sound awesome when you just pick it up and play it unplugged.

Those velocity guitars look really nice. What kind of a finish does yours have?

Here they are.

The schecter is from 1982, with schecters own neck pickup.
I replaced the body recently with an Alder body from https://www.guitarbuild.co.uk/ since it was Imbuya. Heavy as hell.
The Velocity is Alder body with roasted maple neck.
I ordered their Clpton profile, but it was hard V, not soft V, so it was not perfect for me, but roasted maple.... Heaven!!!!!

Thanks!
If you haven't tried roasted maple, do it.
Nothing else will do after that.
