Markers don't move media items on ripple mode

I want the markers to move media items with them, I'm on ripple for all track mode and it doesn't happen. all of the threads I've found about this are ancient but they all suggest to enable ripple editing for all tracks, am I missing something?

Both markers and items move independently of each other. Ripple edits affect items, markers stay where they are. What are you trying to do?

I'm arranging a session for a live show, and I'd like media items to be attached to the markers that mark parts of the show.

Strange. Ripple editing should work. Can you share your .rpp?

You can have overlapping regions (and multiple region "lanes" displayed)...
