Default Drums

I'm trying to create a virtual drum kit with samples I have recorded. I have recorded 5 velocities and want the sample to play randomly out of five to ten different samples for each velocity. I have worked out how to do this with ReaSamplomatic5000 but I would like to have everything in one sampler (Not multiple instances of the same plugin like I do with ReaSamplomatic5000) if that is possible.

Can anyone recommend any free or low-priced samplers that would do this? I have multiple recordings from different microphones so I would like to have all these on one track but I want the recordings for each piece of the kit on separate tracks.

Is there any way to play random samples using this plugin? I have tried it and don't see a way to do this.

I think the best way to do this would be to use the SFZ Designer app that came out about 5-6 years ago and build your program (SFZ) FILE for the Plogue SFZ player from the Aria site. It isn't at the site below, but it probably is with the way back time machine.

Hi,
Now ya got me going on this again.
There is polyphone SFZ editor.

And I can swear I went thru this before. I'll look on my xp machine to see if I can find SFZ designer.
I'm doing this for drum kits so no hijack op:-)

May I ask Logan why ReaSamplOmatic5000 is so undesirable for you to use, when it's probably as good or better then any of the others listed here, especially since you alread know how to use it?

Here's a link to a picture of a whole drum library "SMDrums" using ReaSamplOmatic5000.

https://stash.reaper.fm/42286/SMDrums%20RSK5.png

We also have them programed in Sforzando (sfz) which also has "DFD" and requires much less ram.

If you click on the "SMDrums Fee drums" in my signature you can see all the samplers that SMDrums is programmed in. All but Kontakt are free samplers.

Nothing against reasamplomatic Tod.....but here is one more option..tx816w free sampler. Can read SFZ instruments also.
I found SFZ editor on my xp machine BTW...in recycle bin:-)
It called an error when I tried to run it after install.

FWIW I can't run Sforzando on XP any more, no matter which legacy version I install. RGC Audio sfz+ works though https://plugins4free.com/plugin/217/

This may be an option for the OP.
