Default sending notes from one track to others

I found several posts over Internet which touches the subject but haven't help me at the end.

Probably it's related to the fact, the tracks I'm talking about are all located in a folder (the same one).

I have a track in folder containing a VSTi and some notes to be played. I'm adding another track into the folder, setting up another VSTi wanting to make it play the same notes.
To achieve that I route MIDI (all channels to all channels) from the first track to the second. And unfortunately second track doesn't play. MIDI indicator doesn't even blink.

As far as I remember, it works if both tracks are not located in a folder. But cannot verify it right now.

What am I doing wrong? Is there a solution for it?
I tried to enable "Allow Feedback in routing" option in project settings but it changed nothing.

with regards

I don't think folders matter here. Check that your MIDI send is a PRE-FX send (not a Pre-fader or Post-fader send).

Yeah it’s probably that the VSTi on the first track is eating the midi and not letting it pass through to the send. PreFX send will work, but there’s also an option to have Reaper pass the midi around the VSTi. That option though will also let that midi pass up through the master/parent send and might affect plugins on the folder track.
