Default ReaSamplOmatic5000 Legato

Having a Legato function on ReaSamplOmatic5000 would be awesome. Instead of the sample re-triggering from the beginning every time a key is pressed the sampler smoothly shifts the pitch up and down according to the notes played.

I would love this feature.

Legato switch plus portamento time knob.

External filter will apply to the whole sound output rather than individual voices, so no envelope per note.

Yes, but nobody needs this. Filther per master or stem is even enough, most times.

Well, I'm not sure if we talk about the same thing. It's one of the most basic and essential things in sound design, and for polyphonic instruments you won't be able to substitute it with external filter, unless using it "flat" (without ADSR).
