Default Mackie C4 support

Nice to see the MCU extenders now supported and working well, but quite a few of us who have MCU setups also have the C4 for plugin control, and it is a (very) expensive paperweight right now insofar as Reaper is concerned! I'm currently running Tracktion 3 which does work beautifully with the Mackie Control modules... from what I have seen so far, I like Reaper very much, and would even consider switching, but only when we have full C4 support.

I'm very much in the same boat, I like the look of Reaper and some of the unique features, but could move to it without the C4 being added to it's control devices. Sonar x1 has left me a little under welmed and the move would be easy if this controller was added.

Given that the C4 is discontinued by Mackie, I wouldn't
hold your breath waiting for this.

It is usable as a general midi device though, right ?

Have you explored what you can do with it that way ?
