Default how to fine tune faders

Hi,
I cannot get enough fine movement of the fader with the mouse. I have changed the volume fader range setting for shape but it didn't seem to make it much better.

I can make the fader range shorter but then I either lose the gain or it doesn't go silent when at the bottom

How do you guys deal with this? Is there a way to make the fader movement finer with say a mouse modifier or something?

Its like instead of having a 4inch hardware fader I'm stuck with a little 1 inch budget model fader.

thnx

Try CMD+Drag (on Mac) for fine change
Ctrl+Drag on Windows I guess.

Thank you! That is what I wanted. I'm confused though because I tried that on my Desktop and it didn't work. I just did it on my laptop and it worked perfectly. Also my laptop is responding to the shape parameters too. That is very strange. I will check it out on my desktop when I get home. Great help Rodilab - cheers!

Thanks guys it got it sorted now.

just for interest what is the reason that the numbers on the faders scale do not change? In fact I cannot get a set of numbers and shapes where the the numbers on the fader correspond to the floating variable numbers. ie +12 is always that but anything below doesnt line up.

I guess it's not a problem - just a bit confusing for a noobie.
