Relative render path in prefs breaks glue in unsaved project

A lot of users, especially devs, like to use unsaved projects to test things, so this can be a blocker for them.

Steps to reproduce:

Open unsaved project
Ensure Preferences > General > Paths > Default recording path is set to a relative path
Try to glue some audio

Expected behavior
Dialog opens informing you no path is set and asks where you want to save render.

Actual behavior
Generic message "Error creating output media" shows and operation fails.

Is this only a bug in macOS? Because my friend on Windows gets a render dialog.

Actually, this is only a bug for GLUING, not rendering.

If the user tries glue in an unsaved project without a default path set that is absolute, a file path dialog should pop up, not a general error.

Bump. This behavior is not ideal, especially for scripting because the dev has to account for this bug to check for render path rather than Reaper doing it
