Default Plugin/FX windows get focus on hover

Hi,
I couldn't find an answer to my stupid question by searching so here goes:

Is there a possiblitiy to automatically switch the focus between windows just by hovering the mouse pointer?

When switching between Reaper main and a plugin window, I always have to click that first to get to the controls, which is particularly annoying when using the mouse wheel on the controls. E.g. it zooms tracks in the background instead of changing the threshold in fabfilter comp.

Win 7, Reaper 6.14 x64

Thx,
Schöpke

The plugin window sure is on top, but it doesn't have the focus. Maybe there IS a way of scripting, but maybe it's just a setting in the options I haven't checked.
Anyone pls?
