Hi gang,
This is driving me nuts. I don't know any Mac MIDI power users, so I thought I'd post this here to get some feedback from fellow Mac users.
When a particular MIDI track is not selected and I play from a MIDI downbeat, I get MIDI stuttering for a brief moment. It's easiest to understand with this video:
VIDEO OF REPRO (play video on decent monitors or else you won't hear the tiny metal samples that are being triggered)
Here are my settings:
My System:Reaper v6.15 Catalina, Mac Mini 2020, Catalina, 6 core i7, 64GB RAM, 4K monitor, RME RayDAT card with Sync Card, and extended Light Pipe.
Observations:• It DOESN'T stutter when the track is chosen (rec-enabled)
• It DOES stutter when the track is NOT chosen (and therefore not rec-enabled)
• It DOESN'T stutter when I turn OFF Anticipative Processing.
• It DOESN'T stutter when open in the MIDI Editor even if the track is not chosen.
• I've tried all the different settings... nothing makes a difference except for when I turn OFF Anticipative Processing.
There you go.
Any workarounds???
