Default Logic Pro 7 theme

First I'd like to thank the community for awesome work on the themes, and the new icons in particular kick ass.

I noticed that nobody had yet created a theme based on Apple Logic Pro, which I think is one of the most attractive DAW's out there. So, using the excellent DVS Final Cut as my starting point, I created one myself. Most of the colors are taken directly from a Logic Pro 7 screenshot.

If, like me, you enjoy reconfiguring your whole Windows setup to better match your REAPER install, I very highly recommend using the Black Mesa visual style. Matches the Logic look wonderfully, but without the subtle embarrassment of visual styles that try to copy OS X.

Feedback welcome! Feedback requested! Feedback CRAVED!

P.S. Just rename the file by lopping off the .zip part. They should update the forums to accept .ReaperTheme files!

------------------

Slight update: on the suggestion of gregh it now uses the Akoustic Radar icon theme by default. I've also changed the peaks edge highlight to a light gray color which gives the peaks a pleasing 'anti-aliased' look instead of the stark black outlines.

------------------

Another update: I changed the timeline background to increase contrast between even/odd tracks. I also redid the 'loop selection' track background colors to better compliment the loop colors for the media items. Also, I set the theme not to request a specific icon set because I feel icon selection is more an issue of people picking whichever one they like best rather than trying to mate a specific set to a specific color theme (especially while all the color themes and icon sets are still in flux).

Finally, since its really its own work and REAPER has its own look and in keeping with the R-based naming schemes in REAPER, I've renamed the theme 'Rationale' =)

Ok, here we go. Its meant to be a subdued, professional, clear, and vaguely therapeutic scheme

Good call, gregh! But I feel the radar set meshes slightly better than the night set

I'm glad you guys are liking the theme so far. With my most recent updates I don't see any particular issues with the theme and consider it '1.0'. If you guys really like the theme I'd be honored if you requested that Justin include it as one of the optional themes with the default REAPER install. Could be nice for people jumping ship from OS X or people on Intel Mac's running Bootcamp. This might be pushing it but I wouldn't mind 'Rationale' becoming the default REAPER colors The colors/look certainly match the default icons and the REAPER logo!

Maybe it would be a good idea to mix and match Akoustik Matrix and Rationale into a v2.0 GUI ;-)?

These are the most beautiful Reaper themes out there ! Thank you, thank you !

I like those contrasts, better for clearer visuals, but it is a matter of taste, I guess...
