Hello,
After the first 100 FX Shortcuts (249xx) are used, the issues start.
When creating an FX shortcut it is assigned an ID of 559xx like in the 1st image bellow.
The 2 first FX shortcuts are newly created,
The 2 next were created before a Reaper restart and were also 559xx.
After another Reaper restart, see what happened:
The 1st 2 IDs are now 558xx and the 1st ID took the ID 55837 from the 4th which is now 55839.
Now another Reaper restart:
It seems that each time an FX shortcut is created, the shortcuts IDs above the 1st 100 are shuffled.
The interesting part:
When created and directly tested (with the 559xx assignments) they work. But after a Reaper restart those 559xx IDs activate custom actions created with the Cycle Action editor.
I hope that the description is clear enough for the bakers to find a solution.
Right now the workaround could be, to create all the needed FX shortcuts, restart Reaper and not create any FX shortcut until a solution is found.
Noting that the original FX Shortcuts (24900--24999) are not affected by this issue.
UPDATE
The solution is to use the Command ID of the Actions list and not the FX Shortcut ID.
It might be written somewhere and I must have missed it.
Sorry about that
