Default Ends of audio get cut off in newer versions of Reaper

Hi all,

I was experiencing what I think is a bug with the ends of audio tracks/files getting cut off before the fade out. I say "was" because I got sick of this problem, reverted to an earlier version of Reaper (I'm now running v. 5.965 64bit), and now the problem is gone. This indicates to me that an update maybe broke something about how audio files are processed.

I'm including a screenshot of how I was having to get around this problem. It was happening both on new projects and old projects (I was having to go back and extend the length of all the audio clips to fix the problem on older projects before I realized reverting to an older version fixed the problem. They used to be fine.).

Steps to reproduce:
1. Record some audio.
2. Trim the clip to just before the end, with a very short fade out.
3. Play the clip - the audio cuts out well before the fade.

I got no error messages or crashes with this bug.

I'm running Windows 7 64bit. The version of Reaper that was doing this is v5.974.
