Soundcraft Ui24 in Linux native Reaper?
Anyone have experience with the Soundcraft Ui24 in Linux native Reaper?
I'm looking at a new board for live performance and home studio recording use. Access to mixer is via internal web server, that'll do, just want to make sure the multi-track usb works in Linux Reaper. Tryin to decide between Midas Mr-18, and Soundcraft Ui24. Thanks |

Yes! I have one. It works like a charm. With ALSA or JACK.

update
I picked up an open box Ui24r with warranty, under $700 from PSSL and it just works in Reaper native on Linux Neon.
The hardware and browser based gui is very well thought out and useful, both as a studio recorder/interface and for live. The mic preamps are truly excellent. Now if I can get AV Linux set up with Reaper AND Davinci Resolve I might unplug the modem and get some work done! : ) |
