Default Render individual midi drum to wav

I like to use midi drums with a VST. I am working on a project with another person who likes to have the drum tracks separated and in wav files. He feels he can mix them better that way. When I was using another DAW, I could do the following:

Bring up the VST mixer. Turn off the reverb. Solo the snare and render a wav that has only the snare. Then do the same for the kick, the cymbals, the toms, the overheads and the room.

Is there a way to do this in Reaper? Thanks.

There is... but I still prefer to solo each channel and do it manually, especially for smaller track groupings like drumkits etc.

In the render menu, you can change the output setting from "master mix" to "selected tracks".

This does the trick most of the time, but not always.

Thanks. I will have to find the Render menu but I can probably do that.
