possible bug 1.03b?

creat new project.
add a new track.
click "insert new midi file."
right click on midi file.
choose "open items with built in midi editor"

see what happens...


i get error "no external editor set for this media"

I can't replicate this error, but 1.0b3 still freezes for me when editing MIDI related Preference settings.

I had that problem, uninstall reaper and then install new version again. It should work... I hope

In new version samplomatic doesen't track midi notes, it always play same pitch. Now my demosong is ruined :-(

nope. no go. also the new midi event shows up as "offline."

Is it freezing when you edit them or when you close the prefs page?

Ah, well it was freezing when I clicked on "OK" or "Apply" to close the Preferences page.

Today, my computer won't boot into windows. Something has died in the Registry, so I expect a greater problem was the cause. Sorry for the false alarm.
