No, I think that nobody had anything to offer at the moment. We need more information.

You get "breaks" or "dropout" or "stutter" in your playback...what speed computer? how much RAM? what soundcard and driver model? what buffer size for the soundcard? How many tracks?

You need to help us to help you.

Regards,

Scott

ok it sounds like stutter!

my computer is a pentium 4 with 2,8ghz and ht technology!
i have 1024 mbram!
my soundcard is a audiotrak inca88 and i run this card with asio under 42ms latency!

i think its nearly 32 tracks but only 12 runs at the same time!

32 tracks....audio, midi, or both..... How many (if any) fx, vsti's in use?

Open the perf meter to check playback cpu usage......could be a single plugin causing the problem.

only audio tracks and 3 folder tracks!

2 instances acon studio dynamics, 1 instance the voceq that i found here, and 1 kjaerhus mpl-1...

performance meter shows 32% in the cpu use

ibaxx....
stutters/anomolies can be caused by lots of things.
one thing to check out for starters.....if your running a pci sound card....do you have other pci cards in slots that might grab bandwidth from the pci audio card ??
if you have the net enabled at the same time as recording try disabling it. i assume you have dma enabled on your hard drives.
i run two hard drives. one for windows and one for recording to.
alternatively it might be a rpr setting. in prefs.

its the only pci i card i run...
dma is enabled... the net is checked... and i run two hard disks too...
i think there isn´t the problem...
at the recording process it runs fine... only at playback!
