Any way how to automatically assign markers at the beginning of each item ?

Still struggling with the CD image a bit, where there is a need to create marker in the beginning of each track. Any way to set such markers exactly and automatically ?

Hi Ivo, there are many ways you can do this with custom actions but really all you need is to tie a shortcut key to this action.

Time selection: Set time selection to items

First you select the item and run that action, the cursor will automatically go to the start of the item where you can pres "M", or what ever action you have to add markers.

I know you said the beginning of each track, but since they all start in the same place, I assume you mean the items on each track.

I've been working on an extension plugin that will do this.
It's in an early stage, with a few more cd actions.

If you just want to put markers at the start of items, and you have sws extensions installed, you can run this action: "Xenakios/SWS: Create markers from selected items (name by take source file name)"
