Default Stop TCP index from rotating based on size?

I'm trying to work on this layout hack I had an idea for and something is thwarting me.

Basically I'm using the TCP index's background as the background for the entire TCP. It works perfectly aside from the fact that when the index becomes taller than it is wide it rotates to be displayed vertically, which is not what I want to happen.

Is there any sort of WALTER command or trick that I can use to stop it from doing that?

You can do it if you set some really big margins , so it's always wider than high.
I used this a lot in my colour strip mods.

Also watch out for the folder as it will make the idx background disappear. Again you can offset with margins.

I figured out that I could accomplish my goals with what you stated, but I'm having problems with my index background disappearing when I add a folder comp button.

Do you know a workaround for this? Thanks for your help by the way.

Nevermind, I figured it out. As long as I use margins to keep my index background from ever touching my folder comp button it wont disappear.
