Default Internal FX loop - insertable send/return.

ReaInsert does something similar - it gives you a send/return for external hardware and you can place it anywhere in your track's effects chain. I imagine there could be something similar for internal send/return rather than external.

One situation where that would be useful though would be something like this:
Track A plays some audio.
Track B is an effects track that contains a 100% wet delay and an octave down pitch shift so you can send audio to it and have pitch-shifted delay repeats.
Now what if you also want to add a chorus on both the dry signal from the A track and the "octaver delay"? No doubt there already are ways to do that, but it would be so very convenient, simple and intuitive if you could just insert some send/return/fxloop effect thingy onto the A track, set it to send to track B, use the wet/dry controls to apply however much of the effect from track B you want and then insert a chorus after that.

Hope I managed to explain this coherently.

Perhaps such a thing already exists? I'm new to Reaper so forgive me if this question arose out of ignorance.

You can do that within the same track, just use different channel outputs and a channel mixer JS.

Using channels (by "Pin Routing") you can route the ins and outs of any plugin from/to any track.
