Default Looking for players for rock project

Hello,

I'm looking for a few good players for a hard rock project.

Looking for: bass, drums, vocals

Good knowledge of Reaper is a must

Anyone interested?

Welcome to the forums. "Hard rock" and "good players" are pretty broad terms. It can be more difficult to work with musicians who are well above or below your skill level, so you should post some examples in order to attract suitable collaborators.

I have to agree with this statement here.

It doesn't have to be studio/demo quality or a complete tune.
All you need is something that relays the idea.
A scratch guitar track maybe.

Welcome

I agree that I should include some demos. However, I cannot post the music in a open forum and I think as musicians we all can understand why.

If anyone is interested, PM me and we'll take it from there. Like I said, It's rock, high energy, all original. This is something new!

No one wants to steal your music. The hard part is not writing songs, it's selling them. Why would anyone skip the fun part unless it was easy money? Are you making lots of money with them already? No? Then it doesn't matter. No offense intended, I used to have irrational fears of people stealing all my non-hits as well.

And if it's truly a concern to you, just follow the example of the many online distributors and post a 30 second clip. This here is like saying "Hey, I'm selling a blue car. Anyone wanna buy it?"

Hmmm, ok sorry to have gotten you all worked up. You must be a massive musician to have said what you have just said to me.

A massive musician? I'm not of course, but am I wrong? This is the forum where people share their music and they do it all the time. So, what are you afraid of exactly?

I'm not trying to be a dick, but lately it occurs to me that maybe I just am one. Sorry about that.

Question, are you a musician?

I'm a musician, if nothing else. Just not a "massive" one. I play mainly guitar and drums and also do electronic music and sound design. You can check my sig, but I haven't got much hard rock online, though I used to play a lot of it.

I had this same epiphany about myself recently.
My friends were like,
"Hello ? We've been telling you this for years !!"
Self discovery is great.

They can all kiss my ass !!

Lol, Enjoy

I totally agree that being paranoid over our "hits" only means less people listening to them.

I agree that a 30 seconds clip is a good compromise if you really think you're on a gold mine.

However, if you want to do a collaboration online, you gotta put some meat on the bone..

That's like going fishing and putting an empty hook on the water, hoping that the fish will bite because they know they'll eat tasty worms stowed away in a can because they're too precious to go on a stupid hook in the water.
