Default lfo parameter modulation

i'm trying my best to find out how i can set a certain limit to the reaper lfo generator for my eq frequency on hi hats, i made a pretty extreme peak in the eq on my hi hats that i'm moving/generating in random with the reaper lfo generator.

thing is its moving over all the frequency spectrum and i want it just to move between 300 and 3K, is this possible to set a certain limit so its only generating between those frequencies?

so far strength, direction and phase etc did not do the trick.

anybody knows a way?

it should work if you have your baseline frequency at about 1000hz and your strength at about 30-40% (these are rough ballpark numbers - you'll have to tweak to taste)

EDIT - just tried it and i get best results when setting the baseline to 300hz, strength at 40% and direction = positive

thanks mate

doesn't seem to work for me, with those settings in stays indeed between 20 & 200hz.
i have a peak on my eq between 1k & 5k, this is where i want the lfo generator to slowly move this peak(from left to right) so to speak.

shape: random
speed: 1.0000hz
strenght: 100% (anything below that and the peak is not even reached)
phase: 0.50
direction: positive (on negative/centered the lfo only generates in the sub 20hz area)

sounds like you haven't got your baseline high enough

Lol. You move ahead on then.

For anybody who still cares and hasn't figured it out...

Set strength to 0, direction positive. Now move the baseline slider until the parameter you're trying to modulate sits at the lowest value you want. Then adjust strength upwards until the top of the sweep gets to the highest value you want.

"baseline" (the top slider in parameter modulation) not "bass line"!
