Default re-connect Reaper with UFX

I usually have multiple projects open on multiple tabs. Sometimes reaper will lose contact with my UFX overnight and I have to reboot the PC and load up the projects again, wasting 15-20 minutes.

Is there a way to make reaper re-connect wit the fireface UFX without a reboot.
I have not come across a way yet

Thanks

My UFX never disconnects, ever. It used to, because I was using really long USB cables (my PC is in a closet and I connect to it through jacks on a plate in the wall). I switched to USB over ethernet (short USB cable, long ethernet) and disconnection has never happened since.

My USB cable is short to UFX. Reaper will see the device, but when I hit the PLAY button, the button will turn green like it is playing but no audio or scrolling. I can go into reaper preferences/devices and tweak ASIO configuration and sometimes that will fix the connection but most of the time a reboot is needed. Only seems to happen overnight when I leave it alone for hours.
