Default Axiom 25, Midiman 4x4 and reaper

Hello,
I have the above pieces of equipment plus Focusrite Scarlet, Ez drummer, superior drummer and Win 7 64 bit.

All I want to do is use Axiom for inputting midi drums and keyboards.
I like to do drums on the key board as opposed to the pads on axiom.

In reaper, options midi devices, The axiom is showing and the Midiman4x4.
Do I even need the MidiMan? I am only going to use one hardware synth an old Roland JX8P. I will overdub guitars bass and vocals. Just a small songwriter set up.

Can some one just outline what I have to do to get this to work? It is very confusing to me. I know how to get EZ drummer into reaper but can't figure out how to get superior drummer going with it.

Thank you,
Angster

If your Focusrite has a MIDI in and out (I think it does) and you only have one device, you shouldn't need the MidiMan interface until you add more MIDI devices. It's a nice 4x4 MIDI interface.
