Default help with setup

Hello everyone I am new to the reaper world. I have been a Sonar user since version 3.0 and have grown tired of the buggy "upgrade" X1...I am obviously branching out and have pretty much narrowed it down to Reaper.

That being said, when I start a new project and start by adding a track it has all these sub-tracks that open below of it and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it to not open this way.

EDIT...I found the templates...
Thanks for having me... and by the way..my name is Mark ...

Cheers

Mark

Hello Mark, and welcome to the ReAPER forums.

There is an option in Prefs to not open the last project on startup, too.
