Default how to install lin-vst in manjaro?

currently I'm playing a little with manjaro kde, so far everything has been installed except lin-vst ...
are there more special details or written how-to available for a manjaro compilation & installation?

There is a linvst package in the AUR which you can install (Manjaro being based on ArchLinux).

Download the PKGBUILD, edit it to fix the VST SDK's URL and checksum then build+install the package using "makepkg -si".

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/linvst/

actually my KDE neon is running very well ... no more mouse freezing anymore ;-)
now I have installed & tested manjaro KDE in a VM (Vbox) of course it's very slow inside a VM but it works ... all I need;
because of the package management I find debian is much easier to handle, but on the other hand there are nice indi sources in arch ...
the only question which really interests me is which distribution is faster and more stable ... KDE Neon or Manjaro KDE,
anyone had a longer experience with both?

KDE Neon vs. Manjaro KDE
I have installed a dual boot system with the same hardware in use.
There is no remarkable difference in performance ...

-------------- Neon ---------- Manjaro
boot time: 3 sec ---------- 10 sec
shutdown time: 9 sec ------3 sec
software performance is in all about the same way & time

Handling of package install is easier and faster w/ Neon (Kubuntu) also the time to compile scripts or packages is easier and faster w/ Kubuntu.
Manjaro has many good app sources which do not exist in kubuntu ...
For me, the Nvidia graphics drivers in Neon work better than those from Manjaro ... all in all, Kubuntu is easier to handle when it comes to system settings especially kernel settings and devices. So I will keep using Neon (Kubuntu) for a while ;-)
