Good Evening!
New to Reaper, but somewhat of a hobbyist in home recording, with my only DAW being Pro Tools 7 & 8. I purchased the starter kit Digi had available w/ the Mbox 2 (not the mini). It's worked great for me for all these years, but wanted to try out another DAW that wasn't Pro Tools, and wasn't Logic (like my friends and bandmates are). So, here I am in Reaperville.
Which brings me to why I'm here. I've been searching the forums here, as well as youtube for a solution to my problem:
I installed Reaper, and before start up, I rebooted my PC (yes PC, Win 7 64, but running Reaper 32, FYI). I opened Reaper, and went about setting up the device as I normally would (see screenshot:

I see the input meter responding, so the "In" signal is making it's way to Reaper, but nothing comes out. Yes, usuals like monitor & mix volume knobs were checked, and I even went back and opened up Pro Tools to make sure it wasn't an issue w/ the Mbox 2, but that played just fine with the same hardware and physical settings. Went back to Reaper, and if I maxed out the monitor knob on the Mbox, I could hear "some" of the output, but very low volume.
I decided to do a test. I armed the track, hit record, and strummed some crap for about 15 seconds. I got a waveform in the track window as it was recording, but still no output at the time. I stopped recording and hit Play, and sure as hell it recorded and played it back to me just fine.
So now I'm stumped. I really want to give this DAW a shot. I know I could do guitars in Pro Tools and just move the stems over and work the rest in Reaper, but I shouldn't have to go through hoops like that.
So, any help you fine people might be able to offer me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, and have a good one!
