Anyone know if this exists already?
All the best,

try,
Code:
for i = reaper.CountSelectedMediaItems(0)-1, 0, -1 do
local item = reaper.GetSelectedMediaItem(0, i)
if reaper.CountTakes(item) == 1 then
reaper.SetMediaItemSelected(item, false)
end
end
reaper.UpdateArrange()

Works perfectly. I also made a complementary script Edgemeal_Deselect items with more than one (1) take.lua by swapping == for >
