MIDI grid request
The basic beat breakdown is 1 line for every beat.
Then, we can choose the level of subdivisions.
If I choose 128th beat the I get so many lines that I can't tell where I am.
I would like there to be heavier lines every 4 lines and markings at the top of the grid naming the line positions. Maybe even 3 levels of line thickness
This way we wouldn't have to count lines.
The only other host I have used is Tracktion and even though I want to stop using it it has some good ideas in it.
The grid isn't fixed. As you zoom in the lines mark finer and finer gradations.
Zoomed out you just see the 1/4 notes. Zoom in some more and the divisions automatically become 1/8 notes.
Being able to switch between a fixed grid and an auto grid would be usefull.

"Auto Grid" would be amazing, but thicker lines (or better yet the entire column being a slightly darker color) every 4 lines seems to have an incredible cost-benefit ratio. Easy as hell and mind-bogglingly useful.

+1 for both ideas. Darker on beats, etc, is exactly how I have my Cubase set up.
And, can we get 64th note grid resolution (or even 128) in the main project window, as well?

+1 for heavier lines every 4, and being able to switch to a fixed grid as well.

4 years on..... still counting.
Would this really be difficult to implement?
Just in the interests of clarity and to help us old 'uns with crap eyesight....
