i ment notes = MIDI notes.
i unchecked the setting to draw an edge around them, and i think in your theme, only the edge are visible.

i mean, there is a setting, that reaper will not draw that squares (on your screenshot) around the notes, in that case the notes won't be visible, because you didn't coloured them.
i can do that my self, just let you know.
the same with waves, as i see in the screenshot, you coloured only the edge around the wave,
but the wave itself, has the same background colour as the track, so it won't be visible,
if you (by setting) remove that edge.

selected tracks in TCP
and
..just drop'em in your theme folder. Should be easily visible now (little white blending on the right)
EDIT: ..and the MCP:

What a wonderful theme.
In case you missed the significance, let me make this very clear : Unox has just fearlessly waded into the darkest uncharted waters of Reaper theming, on his first ever theme, AND SUCCEEDED! Many gents who have been theming for years are justifiably scared of this stuff, but Unox has taken it all in his stride, with a spirit of "maybe I can push the limits of what can be done with Reaper theming" that deserves the admiration of us all.
Its a staggering achievement.

staggering from a technical standpoint, but even more importantly...it's useful. that makes it even better!
thanks, unox...seriously. you should set up a paypal account for donations.

Hey, just wanted to say that this is a really cool theme.
I had a couple of people look at it and they were amazed.

Fine piece of work.
And you can tell folks like it just from the ferocity with which they're chasing details. You don't do that if it isn't great.

this is my favorite theme.
been watching this one since it started, and waiting patiently.
enjoying it thoroughly, and the matching windows theme(thanks).
i hate to ask, but do you have any blank toolbar buttons for this?
i see the custom ones that you've included(thanks again), but i'd love to make some of my own that would fit reasonably well without hacking it up too badly by trying to erase "new" or whatnot.
thanks for a fantastic new theme.

Sorry, forgot to include them. Here they are:
Under each button you'll find a pixel in the color of the text. Don't forget to NOT include that pixel while CCP'ing it to a buttonfile, and don't forget to post the buttons you made as .png's in this thread.

I still do not like some of the backgrounds though.
Some different coloring when a buton is active could be nice too. Now Solo and Mute are the same so as some others.
Suggest you could try some ideas from Aldi's themes, Max (of course), labyrinth, brice and Lameflavour.
I use mostly Paula, Unempty, Origin, Blended and some Default tweaked.
Your theme is almost perfect and could be perfect with some different GUI developing. Now when you have done a designer's theme could you make some minimal theme as well? Simple colours, labels, signs, etc.
I could try by myself but better not.

A big "Thank you!" for this. Very distinctive theme.
Something I just noticed: I use the MIDI editor a lot, entering keyswitches. I really like the way the 'piano keys' change their highlight as the mouse enters their lane (hope that makes sense) - very helpful to be sure the correct note will be entered, especially when zoomed way out to see a large range of keys (sounding notes in one range, keyswitches in another).

Ok, I know this might sound cheezy but this theme just made me do it
I was staring at it and this riff just came up to me immediately... grabbed the guitar and recorded it (or else I would forget it)..
Then I got excited and added more shit.. and this theme is guilty of it! lol
Consider this a homage to your beautiful theme.

Hi,
Just a quick question:
I have ReaEQ on a track, with the gain and frequency of the low (hi-pass) band visible on the tcp as fx parameter knobs. When I have the plugin enabled and the track is in Trim/Read automation mode, I can see the values next to the fx parameter knobs. But in Read automation mode, they become invisible. I know, in other themes, for example the default theme, the values change colour, but are still legible.
Is there a setting/preference I am missing here ? I would like to keep Read as the default automation mode and still be able to see the parameter values, if possible.
Thanks !!

..I think in prefs-appearance-themes-mixer FX text. Just tweak those colors a bit (don't forget to save).

Hi Unox, thanks for the reply.
You got me on the right track, it turns out that when I adjust the setting for "Fader Background when automation playing" in Preferences->Appearance->Theme that I can get the writing to show up here when in Read mode.
Thanks again !!

Looks like a great idea Unox. I say go for it too! My favourite thing about Ledfest, by the way, was the way you developed it with help, opinions and thoughts from the forum the whole time. I hope you continue to do this as you are developing themes. Makes the forumites feel a little sense of ownership over it, I think.

These costumized button thing is still a mess in using other themes than the default theme.
I love this Ledfest Theme but I have costumized a lot of buttons and it is looking ugly with these default theme buttons in it.
I saw you give four buttons extra but where to put them?
Is it enough to put them in the theme folder?
