Default Unable to access November 13th update on my MAC!

Hey!

I have limited knowledge of software and computer programs. I have been a novice Reaper enthusiast for awhile. I have a MAC and with the recent MAC upgrade there is no longer an option to download the 32bit Reaper software. So I went with the 64bit. It downloaded fine but when I tried to open it I got a: "Reaper64 cannot be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software" message.

Would welcome any input on how to proceed.

Thanks!

FYI, there is a Mac specific section on this forum if you can't find the answer you're looking for in the Newbie section:

Good Luck.

I don't own a Mac, but I recognize this question, which was actually answered in a couple of other threads already. One of the threads is this one here:

^^^ That thread has the answers. Same comment from me.

Apple is going Microsoft-like with their gatekeeper features. Up to you to leave that on or not. You can genuinely disable it. OSX isn't broken broken yet.
