Default New instance of Kontakt per each MIDI track?

I am sure this is a pretty dumb question, but I haven't been able to figure out how to route different MIDI tracks to different channels of the same instance of Kontakt 2.

I am using Garritan JABB and Garritan Personal orchestra. When I used Cubase, I would just create different VST entries, load bunch of instruments in each one, and then tell each MIDI track which VST instance and which channel should be used. In Reaper I would add FX to one Track, configure Kontakt with the several instruments, and then when adding FX to another track, the Kontakt settings are not there - meaning it creates a new instance of Kontakt.

So, will Reaper create a separate instance of VSTi (in my case - Kontakt 2) for each MIDI track, or there is a way to configure one (or couple Kontakts) with all the instruments, and then just specify to which channel the MIDI track should be routed?

Thanks!

Michael

Create a track and add Kontakt.
Load instruments into Kontakt and assign a unique midi channel to each Kontakt instrument.
Create additional midi tracks and route each midi track to the Kontakt track.
Assign each midi track to a unique midi channel that corresponds to each Kontakt instrument.
Activate the midi track (Midi Record) you want to record and go.

That's the basics. Good luck.
