Poise is sweet indeed, but I've made Reaper crash a couple times through the built-in browser. I reported it to the developer, but it seems to be Reaper as it's rock solid in Live. That was a few versions ago, so don't know if anything may have changed in the newer 2.0 betas. I just dragged in from Reaper's explorer, just like I always do with either ReaDrums or Guru, and everything's fine.
The developer also knows about the Option page "popunder" glitch. Hopefully there will be a new version out soon, and it should have my two feature requests: a reverse button and the ADSR defaulted Off just like the pitch. AFAIC, it's done at that point. I really don't need or want any more from a drum sampler. :-)
If you're interested, the thread about Poise is here:

(It really kicks in on page four, where the link is that I used in this thread)

i have it mapped to the samples installed with Virtuadrum by angular momentum... and the little sample browser is killer! Drag a sample to a pad and audition... I believe that I will be using Poise with Virtuadrum's samples more than virtuadrum hehe.

That's a cool trick! Unfortunately I don't have Virtuadrum installed anymore, though I'm looking forward to seeing the new VD concept that's coming someday. I tried to encourage Thomas to finish VD (with the features I really wanted, of course) but as you may know he's working on some big project for a major company now, and doesn't have the time. VD suffered from the usual deal-killer of independent drum samplers though, no way to preview/audition before loading. All SynthEdit and SynthMaker instruments have this limitation, for the most part.

Are you asking for drum samples, or an example of using these instruments in a project? If you need drum samples, they're freely abundant across the internets. I call it "virtual crate diggin'"... ;-)
Start here:
http://samples.kb6.de/downloads.php (classic drum machines)
http://www.autodafe.net/samples.asp (great acoustic samples)

I really feel this way, and can't believe it's taken so long for someone to get this style/concept right for under $200! Many people would scoff and say, "not another free drum sampler", but the fact is nobody's nailed it yet. I have a drum machine obsession, I feel very passionatly about this! lol
